Ever heard of Big Foot, El Chupacabra or Moth Man? These are all myths, legends or reality depending on who you ask.

I love reading a good story about mysterious and unexplainable events. From hoaxes to true crime. My passion came from when we moved to Canada during the cold winter of 2013. I found the website Cracked.com and started reading articles back before the website writers all packed their bags and left unceremoniously when most of the sites pioneers got laid off. The humor and brevity of their articles made for fun reading, and the format of list articles certainly had me coming back.
I’ve since moved on to reading about true crime when I came about the subreddit Unresolved Mysteries. To be honest, it’s not good reading about unsolved cases that happened in the 60’s at 2 a.m. in the morning. But I just can’t help myself. The theories and dedication, bordering obsession, that some people have about specific cases is truly fascinating and it’s always good to hear when a case gets solved 50 years later because of technology and the help of DNA matches.
This blog was inspired by those two things. I want to write about things that perplex people and make them think, “Is this really happening in real life?” and add my own sense of humor into it because life’s already scary enough as it is. I hope you enjoy!
